The Dryer Drum Roller Axle allows the appliance’s roller to maintain quiet and constant movement during the drying cycle. If your dryer is noisy while operating, the bearing in the roller may be worn out or damaged and should be replaced with this item. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before you begin. Helpful Tip: While the dryer is disassembled, consider replacing the snap retaining ring and drum roller as well.
